Why do we tip bartenders for opening a bottle, but not the guy who makes our sandwich or serves our slice?

I just don't understand why the bartender gets a buck on every beer he opens or pours but the poor shmuck at subway gets jack for making a whole sandwich, hell even mcdonalds workers, they work hard. I don't understand the standards we've implemented as a society
