Why do liberal policies always result in a loss of freedom?

lake Erie caught on fire in the 70's before the liberals stepped in and said we need some regulation here or these companies ( that don't care about you at all ) pollute us all to death to make some extra money. That is the loss of freedom we bring, you can't destroy the environment around you and what kill everyone in your town because you think it will make you money or you just want to do it. Liberals have changed parties but it was liberals who said black people can eat in any resturaunt or go to any school, and it was liberals who said blacks aren't going to be slaves anymore, and liberals who said women can vote. How is that for loss of freedom?
